As the oldest
private bank in Vienna, Bankhaus Schelhammer & Schattera are committed to the tradition with a share of around 85% of the share capital on institution of the Roman Catholic Church in Austria as their core shareholders. The particular responsibility of the Church in social and ethical issues also determines their actions. In thier policy they focus on long-term value and the main principles of sustainability.

Their offerings range from conventional financing products of a private bank: for individuals, businesses and religious institutions. The Bank of the Church

Their strong ties with the Roman Catholic Church is reflected in their ownership structure.
